Installing Windows on a drive with ExpressCache is difficult because Windows always wants to be in the first partition of the harddrive.
When we tried this the installation always succeded but after the Post-Screen where Windows should start to boot the computer always made a full reboot.

Solution 1:

  1. Format the ExpressCache partition with a format that Windows cannot read. This could be ext3 or ext4 (you could use Linux on a stick to do this)
  2. Install Windows on the main partition (the bigger one)
  3. Install the software for the ExpressCache

This should work because Windows can’t read the partition with the non-windows-readable format so it is forced to install everything on the right one.

Solution 2:

Install Windows using a DVD.

Hope this helps 🙂
